For math help, the math teachers have a rotating schedule to assist each morning and afternoon at Fairhope High School. For a copy of the schedule, stop by the counseling office to pick up a copy.

High school isn't easy. It's a major adjustment, not only socially, but academically. If you find yourself sinking, get help as soon as possible! Don't wait and play catch up at the end of the semester. Here's a few tips:

Motivate yourself.
Listen and participate in class.
Take thorough notes during class.
Do not hesitate to talk to your teachers! They know what you need to do to better your grade!
Stay focused during your homework.
Take a 15-minute break after each 45 minutes of studying.
Consider studying together with your classmates.
Do your homework and classwork! That's usually 50% of your grade!
Remember, teachers will NOT track you down to make up assignments or tests after an absence. It is YOUR responsibility now that you're in high school.
